Project Overview

This groundbreaking video-based course was the first of its kind to offer insider access to the world of streetwear, blending fashion, design, and business education with virtual studio tours and real-world problem-solving. I pitched and co-developed the program in partnership with Parsons School of Design and Complex Media to demystify career pathways in a space where streetwear and luxury design have increasingly converged. Designed for aspiring creatives and entrepreneurs, the course provided an immersive, behind-the-scenes look at one of the most dynamic and fast-evolving sectors in the fashion industry.

I designed the curriculum working with the leadership of Parsons School of Design and Complex Magazine while I was Executive Producer for the online education company Yellowbrick. The online course I designed and produced enabled the faculty, industry experts, and designers like Heron Preston, Ruigi Villasenor (Rhude), Estelle Bailey-Babenzien (Noah) and Jeff Staple (to name a few) to impart the critical expertise that students need to advance their careers or pivot to new ones in the constantly evolving world of streetwear and luxury fashion. Project Summary

I led the production strategy that significantly accelerated and scaled the creation of educational video content for the course. By organizing and directing shoots with professors, industry experts, and influencers, I ensured that all content aligned with instructional goals while maintaining a consistent voice and quality across modules. I also managed budgets, streamlined documentation, and established efficient content development workflows, enabling our team to produce a wide range of learning assets for deployment in our LMS. As product owner of Yellowbrick’s proprietary CMS, I helped optimize the system that powered two remote video production studios in NYC and LA. Using PTZ cameras and automated upload workflows, I facilitated remote interviews and cloud-based media management, allowing footage to be automatically uploaded, transcoded, and prepped for post-production—dramatically reducing turnaround time and ensuring a scalable, repeatable production model.

I led in field production of video content, where I directed interview shoots and personally gave most interviews with our subject matter experts. I also created a process and workflow for the creation of 360-degree learning experiences that provided virtual tours of of design studios, showrooms, and factories where top designers like Jeff Staple, Nicky Diamond (Diamond Supply Company), Maurice Malone, and April Walker (Walker Wear) work. In these experiences, students were provided with interactive tours of each workplace. These learning experiences enabled students to understand the functions of a design studio, to understand the roles in a studio, and to ultimately see themselves as a member of the design team.
