David Grandison Jr. is a learning experience designer, instructional technologist, media production expert, and award-winning PGA Producer specializing in developing high-impact corporate training programs using video, interactive media, and immersive technologies. With expertise at the intersection of learning, storytelling, and emerging technology, he has led award-winning instructional design initiatives, large-scale multimedia production projects, and innovative workforce training programs.
Corporate Learning & Development
David has spearheaded enterprise-wide learning solutions for global brands, developing scalable training programs that engage and educate diverse audiences. As Executive Producer at Yellowbrick, he partnered with top universities and brands such as Billboard, Complex, Indiewire, WWD, Teen Vogue, and Rolling Stone Magazine to design educational experiences and VR workplace simulations (MatterPort and Google Maps) that help professionals and students explore careers through online learning and digital storytelling, as well as in-person workshops, bootcamps and brand activations.
At Samsung Electronics, David serves as a Lead Instructional Designer and Producer, developing video, eLearning, and immersive training programs. Under his leadership, his team was recognized as Samsung’s “Best Training Team” in both 2024 and 2025. One of his most impactful projects was the Samsung Immersive Theatre VR Training Project, which revolutionized in-store learning by deploying VR training modules and gamified learning experiences across 600+ retail locations nationwide.
Media Production & Interactive Learning
David brings extensive experience in multimedia production, managing teams that develop 2D and 3D animation, live-action 2D video, 3D (360°-degree) video, e-learning, simulations, and 3D animated VR experiences. He was a driving force behind the Amaze Project (Amaze.org), leading the creation of 30+ award-winning animated shorts covering critical topics such as sexual health, mental health, and gender identity, transforming how health education is delivered to teens.
As a Producer of the documentary film God Said Give ‘Em Drum Machines, which premiered at the 2022 Tribeca Film Festival, David helped tell the untold history of Detroit Techno and its cultural impact on electronic music worldwide. He also developed The Music Origins Project (MusicOrigins.org) as an extension of this work, using digital storytelling and STEM education to engage young people in media production and historical preservation.
Immersive & Gamified Learning Solutions
David is at the forefront of blending emerging technologies with education, creating immersive learning experiences that drive knowledge retention and engagement. David is currently developing cutting-edge 3D interactive training simulations—delivered in VR or desktop formats—that leverage AI-powered bots as avatars in immersive, real-world sales role-play experiences. These simulations are designed to help sales teams scale their training efficiently while engaging in realistic customer interactions that build confidence, empathy, and product knowledge. David’s AI training experiences go beyond simple practice scenarios by delivering holistic performance assessments, tracking key metrics such as communication skills, product understanding, and decision-making. This allows organizations to identify individual and team-wide skill gaps, address training deficiencies, and fine-tune their approach to sales force development—ultimately boosting performance, retention, and results.

David has a Masters Degree in Instructional Technology and Media from Columbia University, Teachers College.
